Shakespeare at Chilawee?
At the theatre! The artistic and creative side of the campers is given an outlet in daily drama workshops. Each workshop, led by qualified instructors, consists of improvisation activities and a structured rehearsal for the skits that are performed at the end of the week.
There are no scripts or lines to be learned! The technique of improvisation with a prepared plot is taught and the campers learn to creatively embellish on a plot line provided by the instructor. This activity proves to be extremely fun as well as a unifying element in the cabins.
